All MAL/Hyatt hotel guests will enter the hotel from the main New Jersey Avenue entrance.
All guests must show proof of COVID vaccine and legal proof of age to enter. Guests will receive a wristband signifying proof of vaccination and age. Wristbands must remain in place and unaltered for the remainder of the weekend to access the hotel.
All attendees must wear masks in all public areas.
Hyatt hotel registered guests will receive a Hyatt hotel wristband following check-in. All guests registered to the guest room must be present in person to receive their Hyatt hotel wristband.
Guests attending the MAL 2022 weekend who pre-purchased the MAL 2022 full weekend package will pick them up in the Capitol A room (lobby level) between 2:30 pm and 10pm Friday, or 10 am to 6 pm Saturday. Centaur MC will have a limited number of the MAL full weekend packages available for purchase on Friday.
Day Passes are $10 for one day or $20 for multi-day.
Day Passes will be available to purchase in a tent set up in front of the Hyatt on Friday, from 3 pm to 10 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Once purchased, you will go into the Hyatt lobby, where you will receive a wristband for proof of vaccination/21 years of age.
Hyatt Hotel Access is limited to:
Full Weekend Package grants you entrance to the Exhibit Area during hours of the Exhibit Area, Leather Cocktails, Sunday Brunch, Mr. MAL Contest, and the REACTION Dance. It also allows you access to the Hyatt lobby area. The package does not grant hotel access to guest room floors.
The Day Pass grants access to the Exhibit Area during the hours of the Exhibit Area and the Hyatt lobby area. The pass does not grant hotel access to guest room floors.
Access to guest room floors is limited to Hyatt registered guests. Hyatt registered guests may escort one guest to their room.
Please note that day passes must be purchased during hours stated above to access the Hyatt hotel after sales hours.
Elevator Access
Elevators will be monitored to safely, allowing a few guests on each elevator to reduce overcrowding in elevators.
The Hyatt hotel will be closed to non-registered hotel guests:
Friday and Saturday at midnight, and Sunday at 10 pm.
ACCESS TO THE HYATT HOTEL AFTER HOURS
To access the Hyatt after hours, you will need to be a registered guest or be accompanied by a registered Hyatt hotel guest. If not already verified by an undamaged, run-issued band, guests must still submit proof of COVID vaccination.
